The first 48 hours are critical, keep them clean, and dry. The skin on our faces is very thin and very sensitive. The leading cause of infection is our own finger tips so don't touch! Unscented creams and unscented soaps are key. I like Cetaphil for a face wash, its hypoallergenic and mild enough to not sting while using. I like Lubriderm for a face cream while healing.
