Brow After Care

Nano and Ombre Brow After Care

The after care for your Nano or Ombre brows is the most important part of the procedure. I know, that sounds crazy, but after you leave the studio, your face is in your hands. However, I make sure you are well equipped to heal those babies perfectly.

The first 48 hours are critical, keep them clean, and dry. The skin on our faces is very thin and very sensitive. The leading cause of infection is our own finger tips so don't touch! Unscented creams and unscented soaps are key. I like Cetaphil for a face wash, its hypoallergenic and mild enough to not sting while using. I like Lubriderm for a face cream while healing. I wouldn't recommend this as a permanent cream for the face, so after you're healed you can switch back to you regular face cream. Naturally, these are just recommendations, you should use whatever soaps and creams work best with your own body chemistry.

The first couple days your brows are going to be much brighter than they will be once they are healed. Once they start to flake a bit, its important to never pick! Let the skin come off naturally. It’s common for the colour in the brows to look faded while this happens, but the colour will come back and it will be a more natural shade. This is what they should look like.

After six weeks, I will ask you to come back to see me to see if we need to do a touch up. Most people have the touch up. Its good to fill in where colour was lost in the healing process and I find you will have longer lasting results with another pass. I will also send you home with written healing instructions and my personal cell number just in case you have questions.
